  Is God's Name Yahweh or Jehovah?

  take the time to read it if you can and just sit and think about it for a second, think about all of the hate and disgust jw's have for the cc and just let that truth settle in.. amazing really.

  Name Jehovah

  i have a question regarding the name "jehovah".. is yahweh an english translation of the name?

  if not, and some say that we don't know exactly how it should be translated, what about the argument the wt makes regarding "we do not know how jesus' name was originally said either".

  other bible translations translate names like "jeremiah" from their original language.

  Read Isaiah 14: 12-14 Satan wants worship and prayers. This he accomplished with the name Jehovah, research shows this is an invented name by a Catholic monk. He also wins in two aspects. Once you find out Jehovan is not Gods name, he gets you to give up on God and his Son. Like most here have already admitted, " thier athethiest now". (NOT ME THOUGH.) Satan wins, both ways. Gets you to prey to a invented God and then gets most to not to believe in God. It's a great deception.

  brother of the hawk, newly enlightened & gojira, recorded an elder's meeting on 5/7/03.

  both does a great job of defending me and making the elders look foolish!.

  thank you raypublisher/jj and jwstruggle for the awesome job you did on it.. follow up story was not recorded but we will post it here hopefully over the weekend.. enjoy, it's pretty hilarious how they try to control us and come after me on a work of fiction!.

  Hang in there you two. If what you feel about your sons wife being behind this, it may just back fire on him and he will find himself needing his family. You need to be there for him at that time, what a great opportunity to demonstate LOVE. Blood is thicker than water!!

  Do You Believe Gods name is Jehovah and why?

  many internet sites claiming that god's names is jehovah.. do you believe it is the name of god?.

  The Name Jehovah is a bogus name. I know I will get bagged for this one, especially on this site. But here goes. The Bible I believe is the word of God. But I also realize it has been tampered with. King James for one, and the WTBT$ for another, namely Fred Franz. The issue has always been about worship, not universal sovereignty ! If it were about sovereignty then Satan would not of obeyed Gods words and KILLED Job!!!!!. Satan had to obey God.

  Issue settled.

  Its about WORSHIP. To quote the NWT since this is the Bible we are most familar with, Isaiah 14:14 says " I shall go up above the high places of the clouds, I shall make myself resemble the Most High." Cross reference these scriptures and the surrounding scriptures you will see they all relate to Satan. From the beginning It has been about worship, Satan said to Eve, " Is it really so?" " you will not Die" Since that point mankind has been very conflicted as who to worship. the Nation of Israel failed many times in regards to worship. When Satan tempted Jesus, It was about worship!!

  Fast forward to the Catholic Monk. He uses Elohim and Adonai and Invents Jehovah!!!. King James inserts it into his version, only in a couple places. Throughout history it has not gained recognition, Satan is sad. So now he gets the WTBTS to re-issue a bible and guess what, he gets what he wants all the prayers!!! Just imagine all those who have died ignorant about the name Jehovah, all those of us who have left the WTBT$ prayed to that name, and yet those still praying to that name. Satan has fulfilled scripture, He has resembled the Most High, and that is what Satan has wanted from the very beginning!!

  We are living in the age of Apostasy, which indicates there is no true religion leading to God as we have all seen. The Day will come when Christ will correct all these points of issue, and we will all be surprised as to how wrong we all are. I also feel since we are living in the age of apostasy that we can not be held completely responsible, the book in which we are suppposed to put all our trust in" The Bible" has been tampered with,

  Satan has used Gods word to get what He wants, WORSHIP.

  Beyond that, we do have the spirit of Gods word and the words of his Son, If we can manage to live within that spirit I think when the time comes to make a final decision we will be able to do it. After all, when we can plainly see the WTBT$ for what it truly is, we had no problems in deciding to leave it. We made a very decisive choice. The correct choice. That made Satan sad, ahhhh no more prayers from us.

  So in answer to the topic question, NE, Gojira, and I DO NOT BELIEVE GODS NAME IS JEHOVAH!!!!!!!! the above statement explains why.

  i was raised in the religion, pioneered and served as an elder for a number of years.

  Yes, We noticed also how fast the love went away. Not visits, no phone calls, we even gave the P.O. stamps to mail us our KMs and we didn't even get them. That realy got us to thinking alot. Elders are shephards only if you are in a certian mile radius. What is even more sad is that My brother inlaw was serving as a elder in that cong. and not even he would call his sister to check in on her. How truly sad.

  he was visited again by two elders(one in training) again.

  third shepherding call within two months.

  If you need some encouragement, please feel free to PM me. To try and offer encouragement from the scriptures on this forum is almost like beating your head against a brick wall.

  Believe me when I say It will get better, and My wife and I are going through a simiar thing right now. We are bound and determined to "Listen to the voice of the true shepherd, " not the imposters.
